Training Scholarships

In 2021, Shooting Stars will be offering Training Scholarships. The program will be interview- and audition-based and limited places will be offered to those students who show a strong passion, drive and potential.

At SSDA, we strongly believe that not all dancers want to be performers/dancers for their entire life.  And having a teaching qualification doesn't always make great teachers. However, with SSDA's Training Scholarship Program, we feel that great teachers can be found and made with the right guidance and mentorship.

Our Principal, Selena Atalla, has a Masters of Education in Dance/Drama and a strong passion for dance and performance. Selena's goal is that through the Scholarship Programs, we can make passionate and compassionate dance educators of tomorrow.
